What’s the best way to setup my file?

To achieve the best results, we recommend uploading large files. Please ensure your files are over 1000px wide or tall. In selecting the types of images to upload, try to use high contrast images where there’s a clear distinction between black and white, for example black and white icons. Avoid designs which use gradients or vignettes.

How detailed can my design be?

Our stamp making process can achieve really awesome, precise results – even with very detailed designs!
Our key requirement is that all line weights need to be minimum 1pt when scaled to your required stamp size, to ensure all detail will come through on the finished rubber. If you’re not sure if your design meets this requirement, please get in touch with your design file to discuss, before placing your order.

What file types can I upload?

Files accepted by our uploader are JPG, PNG, GIF, and SVG files, and any whitespace surrounding your graphic is automatically removed.

Who owns my artwork after I upload it?

Your artwork will always remain your property. Through uploading an image through our service, you are in no way transferring the rights for that image over to us. Any design upload to this site is the property of its original creator which means you must control the rights to any design you upload to Woodruff and Co.
By the nature of our service, when you upload a design and order, you are granting Woodruff and Co permission to manufacture a product from your design for the express purpose of fulfilling your order.

What kinds of designs can not be uploaded to Woodruff and Co?

Designs should only be uploaded that you created or control all necessary rights to. We do not accept artwork which may be considered offensive eg violent, nude, partially nude, discriminatory, unlawful, infringing, hateful, pornographic or sexually suggestive images.
